This extension help you to switch a site, a store view or all sites to offline mode with a maintenance page for perform maintenance operations, So when customer access your site he/she will get notify that your site is under maintenance and will come back to your site later.
- You can customizable look&feel of maintenance page with magento CMS page the way you want with related to your currrent theme.
- You can add your PC into the IPs white list so only you can access the frontend of your site so you can customize your site, while customer still see the page is under maintenance.
