This extension validates all shipping addresses after checkout. If any errors are found, the user is provided with suggestions and an opportunity to edit the address.

Why only validate after checkout?

The Google Geocoding API is great (and free!), but is not really designed for real-time address capture. Checkout is a very sensitive area and care is needed not to affect conversions. We think that the Google API is not good enough to be part of the main checkout flow.

Validating the address AFTER checkout is a safer bet. Users will be delighted if you help fix their typing errors, and can simply ignore you if you falsely flag up a correct addresses.
