Mage Speed Test

MageSpeedTest.com is a free service to simulate multiple customers on your webstore and test the speed. This extension will help you create your sitemap.xml file and run your first test.

Instructions

After installing the extension go to System -> Configuration -> Admin and expand the MageSpeedTest.com section.

If you already have the required sitemap.xml file then you can run your test right away. If you have not, the extension will guide you to create one, and then you can run tests.

Monitoring Your Store

You can configure periodic speed monitoring and receive an alert if your speed test results have changed dramatically - which can be an early indicator of problems.

To begin monitoring a store, run a basic test, and then on the results page for the test, simply set your alert thresholds and create the monitor.

Once you have a monitor running you can view the monitor from your toolbox on the MageSpeedTest.com homepage.

When viewing a monitor you can: see your recent monitoring results, edit the alert threshold, and premium members can access the API URL.

Copy paste the API URL into the MageSpeedTest.com Magento settings area in order to import the results into your Magento store.

Premium Testing

With Premium Subscriber accounts you can test from multiple locations and with more users for longer durations. You can also monitor more sites, and access the monitor API.

A premium subscription is $9 per month and
