About the OMS Global Freight Estimator
The purpose of this extension is to provide a seamless mechanism for merchants to display freight rates for various carriers regardless of whether the carriers are non LTL (UPS, Fedex, USPS, DHL, Australia Post, TNT, Toll, etc) or LTL (Startrack, XL Express, etc) using one extension. The benefit of this extension is that it is capable of allowing the merchant to specify their own Freight Carriers, Freight Account numbers, and Freight rates assigned to them by the shipping companies.

This extension is capable to displaying both live and static rates which are displayed for your customers during check checkout to obtain a shipping quote.

It takes into account product weight and dimensions such as length, width, and height for volumetric issues.

There are additional options in the admin area to control the freight rate if required.

This extension is capable of working from any country, however currently it has been tested in both the USA & Australian markets. It does require an active account setup with OMS in order to use it.

This Extension is FREE and can be utilized for FREE by any merchant who will have no more than a 100 Freight Rate lookups per month and does not have a need to display their own freight rates online. The extension will display the published list rates for popular carriers. Merchant must contact OMS to obtain the Account Information to activate
