Product Fields Permission
Magento provides a facility to create roles and assign resources at Magento backend. But if want to give the permission to your admin user who can edit your products from backend, but can’t edit/change few product fields/attributes (i.e. SKU, price or any other custom attribute). The Product Fields Permission extension provides the ability to give the permission to edit only selected product fields/attributes.
For example, a store owner has created new role/user ‘Product Editor’ and this editor’s work is to modify product images, description and other data but should not modify few product fields, like SKU, Price, the Inventory attributes etc. In this case the Product Fields Permission extension proves very helpful. As it allows to give the permission to edit only selected product fields/attributes.
