After a initial collection of all your images, Rapido will automatic optimize your image in the cloud and send back your new optimized image in the correct directory.
What does the Magento Image Optimizer do?
The Magento image optimizer build by Rapido is a subscription based software extention which automatically optimize product, catalog, cms and theme images on a daily bases.
Once the Magento module is installed it crawles your Magento shop for all types of image (png, jpg and gif), creates a log in de Magento database and sends the unoptimzed Magento images to our State of the Art Cloudbased platform where they are optimized and send back to your shop.
Newly added images are submitted to our plaform once a day. Even flushed catalog and product images in cache can be optimized once more automaticly.
