Rounding Error Fix for Magento and PayPal
This extension fixes the rounding error in Magento 1.7.0.0, 1.7.0.1 and 1.7.0.2.Example:
Product Price: 9.99 EUR incl. Tax
Shipping Cost: 5.00 EUR incl. Tax
Included Tax: 19%.
In the cart of Magento this will add up to 15.00 EUR instead of 14.99 EUR. This extension fixes this rounding error.
Some sources suggest to alter Mage_Core_Model_Store::roundPrice() such that the PHP-function round uses four decimal places. This is sufficient for the cart, but an order paid via PayPal may get a state = payment_review and status = fraud, because of this adjustment. This extension fixes that issue too.
Note: This error does not exist in Magento 1.8.
