Smart Search

The Smart Search extension extends features that store owner demands to make quick search feature more user friendly. It allows customer to find desire product quickly without click on submit button. It uses Magento standard search algorithm to retrieves list of products which are matching with typed keyword by customer. Due to developed retrieving and rendering of data based on AJAX, it makes possible to display products quickly without page refresh.

Objective

For quick and effective search result when customer search by any keyword on your store. Display suggestion of keyword entered by user on website.

Features:

  1. Results can be display in suggestions below search box. So user can see the result and navigate directly by clicking on that product.
  2. Suggestions are coming from Ajax request so not page loading required.
  3. Admin can manage the number of items that can be display in suggestions.
  4. Product Attributes can be manage from backend so selected attributes of product will be display in suggestion area.
  5. Searched Items can be display in customizable layout.
  6. Sorting of results in suggestion can be managed by specific attribute to product.
  7. User can search by tags, product attributes on frontend.
  8. Ability for admin to display out of stock products or not.
